I always love the food here. Pizza, pasta, or a classic chicken parm on a hero always hits. My family always comes here to eat. Even ordering catered food from here is great. Always a reliable place to get food for catering if you have a party. The restaurant has a formal dining and a front section where you can sit and just grab a slice. It's almost has the atmosphere of a formal restaurant and also a classic neighborhood pizzeria. The servers are always nice and helpful. Always checking up on you during dinner. It feels very family friendly

Still Tasty and worth every penny as ever! I have eaten here multiple times (over 20) and still am amazed and satisfied every time I eat here. Every item I get tastes homemade and there is always enough for leftovers!

Whenever we go to Bayridge, since we moved. We have to visit Vesuvio's, their food is delicious and consistent quality. The portions are large, so we eat half and take the other portion home. The chicken franchise, is delicious, as all their menu offerings. The wait staff , manager, and owner make you feel so welcoming, like family. Always a pleasure to eat here. Part of the restaurant is a lovely dining area, another part is also a pizza area. They also have a catering room as well. A great gem in Bayridge!!!

This was my 2nd visit to Vesuvio. Each time I go I love it more and more! We're visiting Brooklyn, from California. We make a stop at the restaurant because we know we'll get some great food in a nice, local Italian restaurant. Dishes are prepared perfectly and service is always excellent!! We ordered the octopus salad tonight (pictured). All excellent!! Belle was our waitress tonight. She's so nice and did a great job!! So attentive and friendly. Restaurant patrons all seem like locals--a plus for me! The neighborhood is safe. Parking mat be a problem sometimes. I highly recommend Vesuvio for any reason at all!!

Excellent Italian restaurant!! The food here was top notch from start to finish. The best thing about this restaurant is the portion sizes. They are huge. You are truly getting what you pay for. We started with the hot antipasto and fried calamari. They were both fresh and delicious. I had the toscana pasta and it was delicious. The toasted breadcrumb, broccoli rabe, and shrimp combo is a favorite of mine and this didn't miss. And I had enough for two lunches afterward lol what could be better than that. Can't wait to come back.

The Brooklyn pizza is great ,very cheesy ,brought it on a large plate , asked if I need extra cheese , I said no. The place is great ,is very cool and I would call it a up scale Italian pizzeria.Also our server is Maria, she is very friendly and nice. (Max,9)

The servers were friendly. The food was good, we were here for a private event which they had a room for us in the back. Would recommend!

In Bay Ridge, Gino's is the hot spot for red sauce Italian, but I wouldn't sleep on Vesuvio. It's a more relaxed vibe and becomes a cozier go to restaurant when you want comfort Italian food. The service is consistent, friendly, and efficient. The house focaccia is light, garlicky, and great for mopping up sauce. Recommended dishes - pulpo salad (octopus salad), zucchini sticks, buon gustaio, melanzana
